Rizwan Ahmed, MA

Rizwan is currently a PhD student in Curriculum Studies at Western University. His research focuses on the strategies employed by current undergraduate students, whose learning has been impacted by the pandemic, to navigate their undergraduate curriculum and the significant challenges they encounter in managing their undergraduate-level courses. His research will specifically examine the cognitive gap, learning and retention, and metacognitive control in this context.

Rizwan holds a Master’s degree in TESOL from Malaysia and another Master’s degree in Literatures in English and Cultural Studies from Bangladesh. Before pursuing his PhD, Rizwan taught at Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University in the Department of English. He has also completed coursework in literature, language, and cultural studies at various universities.
